John Stanford started Florida Life Safety after spending most of his adult life in fire protection. Before then, he had fallen naturally into leadership roles with other companies where he honed his skills with life safety equipment and learned how to build a team. After forming FLS out of his garage in 2019, he thoughtfully brought a group of safety professionals together to serve the communities in and around Fort Myers, FL. In a few short years, the FLS team has not only grown but has been at the front line of redeveloping the area after it took a direct hit from Hurricane Ian in 2022, doing everything they can to help people get back into their homes. Their dedication to safety is proven every day as they contribute to rebuilding efforts. Teams like this are a welcome addition to the Marmic Family of Brands.
