At Marmic Fire & Safety, we do our utmost to protect the data of our customers and potential customers.  We will never contact you asking for personal identification involving social security, credit cards, passwords, or other information that opens you up to potential fraud.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect it, our uses of the information and how to contact us about use of that information. This Privacy Policy, along with our Terms and Conditions, governs your use of our Website.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Policy may change from time to time.  Your continued use of the Website after we make changes means you accept those changes, so please check the Policy periodically for updates. In this Policy, we refer to “Personal Information,” which is data about an individual who can be identified from that data, or by combining it with other data. Personal Information is usually your name in combination with another identifier, such as date of birth, postal address, email address, telephone number, or government-issued identification number. Personal Information does not include anonymous or aggregated data that can no longer be used to identify a specific person, even if combined with other data. The specific definition of Personal Information varies from one jurisdiction to another

Privacy Policy

What information do we collect directly from you?

When you contact us for products or services, we will typically collect your contact information: name, address, delivery name and address, billing name and address, email address and phone numbers. We keep this information through delivery and for an additional period to respond to any inquiries from you.

If you register an account with us, we associate it with your contact information and your password. We keep product information for your purchases for as long as your account is active. You are responsible for safeguarding your password.

When you send us questions or seek additional information from us, we collect your contact information and your inquiry. If you report a problem with our Website, products or services, we may collect the same contact information, along with a description of your problem.

If you subscribe to our emails, we collect your name, email address, so we can let you know about products of interest and special promotions. When you click on a link in our emails to you, we track that click-through data. You may unsubscribe from these emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in them or contacting us at privacy@marmicfire.com.

What information do we automatically collected from Website visitors?

When you visit our Website, certain non-personal information is collected, such as IP address, device ID, browser setting, operating system, referring domain, language preferences, mobile carrier, website activity and cookies.

A “cookie” is a small file stored on your computer by a website which gives you a numeric user ID and stores certain information about your activity on the website. Some cookies only last for the session you are on the Website. Other cookies persist beyond that session, so, for example, you do not have to reenter contact information or items in your cart. We use cookies to transact with you, gather navigation information, enhance and personalize your experience, analyze usage patterns, and improve our Website, products and services.

Our cookies generally fall into one of four categories: Essential, Functional, Analytics and Target.

Essential Cookies are necessary to provide you with products and services available through our Website. If you refuse them, it will impact your ability to access some of the Website’s functions and features.

Performance Cookies help us enhance the performance and functionality of our Website, products and service, but are not necessary for your use. Still, certain functions or features may become unavailable if you refuse them.

Analytics Cookies collect information that is used to help us understand the use of our Website, products and services, the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, or to help us customize our Website to enhance your experience.

Targeting Cookies record your visit to our Website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed, so we can recognize you as a prior visitor and track your activity on our Website and others you visit. These Cookies remain on your device for us to use during a next visit to our Website. In contrast to these “persistent” cookies, some cookies (“session cookies”) are deleted when your browsing session has ended.

We also allow third parties to use Cookies on our Website to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites you visit. This information is used to provide advertising tailored to your interests on websites you visit, also known as interest-based advertising, and to analyze the effectiveness of such advertising.

To learn more about the use of Cookies by Google for analytics and to exercise choice regarding those Cookies, please visit the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Apart from cookies, when you engage in a transaction with us or click on certain features, we will use a hashing algorithm that protects your Personal Information before we send it to Google for analytics and matching purposes. For more information on this process, please see How Google Uses Enhanced Conversion Data.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. You can set your browser to decline all cookies automatically or to prompt you for a response each time a cookie is offered. If you decline cookies, you may find that you cannot access all our Website’s features.

There are also “do not track” or similar browser choices available to internet users with respect to online web activity but given the present lack of consensus of what constitutes an informed election, appropriate trigger or breadth of scope of such choice, our Website will not operate any differently when a “do not track” signal is received.

With whom do we share the information we collect?

If another company acquires our company, business, or assets, that company will possess the Personal Information collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. In the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, your Personal Information may also be transferred as a business asset.

In addition, we may share aggregate, non-individual information, incapable of identifying a particular person, with third parties for lawful purposes.

When you click on links and/or ad banners that take you to third-party websites, you will be subject to the privacy policies and terms and conditions of those third-party websites, not ours. We are not responsible for those websites or the actions of third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies and user terms and conditions.

We will not keep your Personal Information for any longer than is necessary for the purposes we collected it. To protect your Personal Information, we maintain a variety of security measures, including physical, electronic and administrative safeguards. Any Password for our Website or app will be the exclusive property and confidential information of the Company and may be used by you solely for your individual use of this Website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any Password. All activities that occur using your Password are your responsibility, whether you authorized them or not.
